USNA Alumni Association Louisiana Chapter

Mission

  1. The mission of the Chapter is as follows:

  1.  To communicate the message of the U.S. Naval Academy and the USNAAA to the U.S. Naval Academy alumni of Louisiana.

  2.  To influence public opinion in the best interest of the U.S. Naval Academy, the USNAAA, and the Naval Service (U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps).

  3.  To encourage and assist in the growth and development of the U.S. Naval Academy and the USNAAA.

  4.  To perpetuate the friendships and associations formed by members through their common experience and interest in the U.S. Naval Academy and the Naval Service, and to promote fraternity among U.S. Naval Academy alumni.

  5.  To inform, encourage and assist outstanding and qualified young men and women to pursue careers as officers in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps through the U.S. Naval Academy.

  6.  To initiate and sponsor activities which will perpetuate the history, traditions, memories and growth of the U.S. Naval Academy and bind alumni together in support of the highest ideals of command, citizenship and government.
